We are committed to helping children in Kenya . Culturally Yours Int'l donates some of its proceeds to help feed some orphans in Pumwani Estate Kenya .

Culturally Yours Int’l is a performing arts organization that preserves, creates, teaches and presents the cultural experience of African art forms through dance, theatre, music and other creative expression. We also strive to help the aids orphans of Africans through our “Children feeding Children” Program. A portion of our proceeds will be used to pilot projects in Kenya and within the slums of Nairobi.  Since 2006, the African childrens’ dance troupe have donated five suitcases of clothes to children in Pumwani and a total of $1,500 U.S dollars, that was used to assist with food and schooling for children in Eastleigh Kenya. Assistance was overseen by Parotext Womens group in Pumwani.
Our goals are to Instill and increase a sense of creativity in participants, while giving learners of all ages and backgrounds an understanding of other cultures. Students throughout Houston participate in our cultural events. These students come from various socioeconomic backgrounds and races, and include all age groups.

Philosophy

Culturally Yours Int’l believes in offering activities designed to reinforce a community value system that encompasses unity, self-determination, collective work and responsibility, cooperative economics, purpose, creativity and faith; values that are vital to the development of today's youth.
Encourage the practice and promote the knowledge of our heritage of traditional, historical, and folk dance, music, and song, with special emphasis on African traditions.
To encourage and support the establishment of local groups and regional organizations interested in these objectives
Assemble and maintain a library of materials related to traditional, historical, and folk
To act as an educational and nonprofit society.
